The book “Mindset” by DR. Carol S. Dweck was published in the US on 2017. She explained about the type of mindsets, fixed and growth mindset, that lead to thoughts and actions.

This book explained the different between fixed and growth mindsets with detail examples of how success people gain their achievements. The thing that makes this book interesting is defining the mindset itself. She said that mindset is just a belief in your mind that you can change it. The fixed mindsets do not believe in effort, fear challenges, concerned how you will judged, and busy to prove and validate themself. While the growth mindsets love the challenges and believe in efforts, resilience in the face of setbacks, concerned how to learn and improve. This book makes me understand what the failure is really about in the growth mindset perspective and how I can cope with that. Not just that, this book teach me to understand what good mindset in relationship as well. When it comes to a relationship, you dealt with a partner problems. Acknowledge them and build from there would help you to learn and develop your relationship. It benefits to reach their own goals and fulfill their own potential. Lasting relationship comes from effort and work on the differences to keep on track.

Next time you feel low, put yourself in a growth mindset: think about learning, confronting obstacles, think about effort as a positive, constructive force not as a big drag, try it out.
